This short group begins with Bremetennaco, Ribchester (Antonine Itinerary Iter X, Notitia Dignitatum Occ. xl.54 and RIB 583), which is out of place either here or at the end of the preceding group; as the name is long, it may have been misread as being adjacent to Camboduno. <Pampocalia> conflates two names, as Richmond and Crawford (1949, 43) observed, to be restored *Cambo(duno,) Cal(car)ia (Antonine Itinerary Iter II), for Leeds and Tadcaster respectively (Rivet & Smith 1979, 293 & 289). Lagentium, which follows, is a better form than the <Legeolio> of the Antonine Itinerary Iter V or <Lagecio> of Iter VIII; it can be fixed by the Itinerary at Castleford (Rivet & Smith 1979, 383).
